Nomination call: supplementary election of academic staff Board members

In accordance with the timetable approved by the President of the Academic Board on Monday 24 October 2016, nominations are now being sought for the supplementary election to the Academic Board for 2017 – 2019 of

  • one professor (professorial member) and
  • one member of the non-professorial teaching or research staff (for 2017 ONLY)

Please note that non-professorial teaching or research staff candidates must be employed under a contract with a term of employment of 12 months or more, requiring at least 18 hours of work each week at level A or above.

All nominations MUST be received in the Elections Office no later than 4.00 pm on Wednesday 22 February 2017.

Signed and completed nomination forms must be submitted by the deadline to the Elections Officer, either by email to uqelections@uq.edu.au or in hard copy to Room 424, JD Story Building. Candidate statements are to be emailed in a Word document to the Elections Officer at uqelections@uq.edu.au.

Elections will be conducted in accordance with the University’s Electoral Code, PPL 1.30.03a Academic Board and PPL 1.30.01a University Elections.
