Election of Non-Professorial Teaching or Research Staff to the Academic Board for 2019

Eligible staff are invited to vote in the election of seven (7) non-professorial teaching or research staff to the Academic Board, in accordance with the timetable approved by the President of the Academic Board on Monday, 26 March 2018.

Voting closes at 9:00am on Wednesday, 12 September 2018.

Voting eligibility

Only non-professorial teaching or research staff employed with a term of employment of 12 months or more, requiring at least 18 hours of work each week, at level A or above may be eligible to vote.

Voting outcome

Votes will be counted on Wednesday, 12 September 2018.  All candidates will be notified shortly thereafter and the results will be posted on the Academic Board website.

About the Academic Board

The Academic Board is the University’s principal academic adviser to the Senate and the Vice-Chancellor.  The Board formulates policy on matters such as new programs, teaching, learning and assessment, research, promotions, special studies programs, prizes and scholarships.  You can visit the Academic Board website for more information.

Elections will be conducted in accordance with the University’s Electoral Code, PPL 1.30.03 Academic Board and PPL 1.30.01 University Elections.
