Call for Nominations - Election of Postgraduate Student Members of the Academic Board for 2019

Due to a technical anomaly, the receipt of postgraduate student nominations has now being extended until 4:00pm on Tuesday, 18 September 2018.

The Academic Board is the University’s principal academic adviser to the Senate and the Vice-Chancellor. Further information about the Academic Board is available at https://academic-board.uq.edu.au/academic-board.

The following vacancies exist for 2019:

  • two (2) postgraduate students, one of whom is a research student
Nominations close at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 18 September 2018.

Candidates are advised that by signing the nomination form they acknowledge and agree that they will comply with the expected standards of behaviour set out in the Electoral Code  published by the Returning Officer under section 7 of the University Elections Policy.

The signed nomination form must be returned either by email to uqelections@uq.edu.au or posted to reach the Elections Office (level 4, JD Story building, St Lucia Q 4072) by 4pm on 18 September 2018.  Do not deposit your nomination form into any other mailbox.

Voting will open on Tuesday, 25 September 2018, at which time eligible voters will be sent a link to cast your vote. In the interim, please direct any questions to Ms Tina Ferguson, Elections Officer on (07) 3365 3360 or by emailing uqelections@uq.edu.au.
