Committee support and secretariat guide

Committees are an integral part of governance and decision-making at The University of Queensland. The committee secretary ensures that the important work of the committee is carried out effectively.
This guide outlines the responsibilities of the committee secretary through each phase of a committee meeting.

This guide is based on the secretariat support structure used for UQ's Academic Board and its committees, however, the principles will apply to other UQ committtees. Please be mindful that your organisational unit may follow slightly different processes.

This resource is available to UQ Staff. Please log in to access the guide.
