eLearning Operational Forum
The e-Learning Operational Forum (eLOF) facilitates coordination of the various University eLearning services and service providers. At the forum information is shared on system and service changes, maintenance and additions. The forum provides an important communication channel to hear about eLearning initiatives and projects and to improve collaboration on a variety eLearning related operational and strategic projects and working parties. Members provide expert feedback.

Terms of Reference
The role of the eLearning Operational Forum is to:
- Address operational activities required to achieve eLearning aims and strategies as identified by the Teaching and Learning Committee and the Faculties. These operational activities will be based on a yearly operational plan to be submitted to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
- Provide advice on operational requirements and impacts of such activities including the provision of feedback on eLearning tools and, as required, participating in their implementation.
- Provide a communication point to coordinate the operational activities across the eLearning team at UQ.
- Review common issues identified by Forum members.
- Evaluate operational activities and integrate findings for continuous improvement,
- Provide regular reports to the Teaching and Learning Committee.

- Representatives from ITS Projects and Training, Helpdesk, Technical, and Lecture Recording
- One representative from each Faculty, appointed by the Associate Dean (Academic)
- ITaLI educational designer nominated by the PVC (Teaching and Learning)
- ITaLI eLearning academic nominated by the PVC (Teaching and Learning)
- Representative nominated by the Director, Library Resources and Technology Service

Monthly meetings are coordinated by the nominated Chair.
Learning Design Community
Overview
Faculties at UQ have appointed positions to provide, or support, effective design and implementation of technology enhanced learning at a local level. ITaLI has appointed learning design staff to support academic staff across the University.
These diverse roles play an important part in implementing UQ’s strategic goals to:
- Provide an experiential curriculum, and
- Build a digital and personalised experience that evolves to meet changing student and industry expectations and is at the forefront of pedagogy, assessment and analytics.
This informal community supports and enhances teaching and learning practices (including technology-enhanced learning) through collaboration and communication across the University and provides a forum to discuss opportunities and concerns to be raised with the Teaching and Learning Committee.

Terms of Reference
- Identify opportunities to address the effective pedagogical application of technologies to support faculty and institutional teaching and learning related to faculty priorities.
- Provide formal and informal connections between group members to support these activities.
- Support the sharing of pedagogical practice and resources between group members, and wider dissemination across the University.
- Identify common or recurring issues and opportunities.
- Provide professional development for participants.

Integrity Officers Network
Overview
School and faculty Integrity Officers (IO), along with professional staff, are critical across UQ in both prevention and response roles. They are responsible for promoting the values and practice of academic integrity to students and staff while also guiding academic staff on educational strategies associated with academic integrity (prevention). They support decision-makers in relation to student general and academic misconduct (response).

Terms of Reference
- Enables the sharing of good practices, resources, and news impacting Integrity Officers.
- Fosters consistency and quality of investigations across schools, including alignment of data and reporting.
- Supports new Integrity Officers and ongoing connection between existing Integrity Officers, the Integrity Unit, Academic Lead, Assessment and Academic Integrity, and Assessment Subcommittee.
- Allows a greater voice for Integrity Officers in consultation processes on related policies and practices, including making recommendations to the Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Committee (TLSEC).
Administrative Arrangements
The Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation provides leadership and administration for the community. Sharing of resources and asynchronous interaction will be facilitated using Teams. This will include onboarding information for new Integrity Officers.
Three groups of synchronous interactions annually.
- Faculty-based: Faculty-level network, led by associate dean (academic) or nominee, that meet regularly, plus an annual visit from Student Conduct and Grievance team, PVC(T&L), ITaLI leads
- Pan-UQ: The UQ-wide network that meets twice a year to bring the whole group together to share practices, moderate cases, and raise issues and recommendations to TLSEC. These meetings also allow consultation on items as requested by TLSEC.
- Reaching course coordinators: Twice annually in Ready to Teach Week, ITaLI leads for course coordinators on latest updates and information on academic integrity. Integrity officers are welcome to attend.
Governance
The direction and agenda setting for UQ-wide and Ready to Teach week sessions decided by the IO Community Leadership Group. This is a small group of senior integrity officers who want to demonstrate service leadership. The Academic Lead, Assessment and Academic Integrity is a standing member and organises administrative support for the community.
Reporting
The Integrity Officers Network reports annually to TLSEC on its activities, key topics of discussion, and any recommendations. The Network can send recommendations to any TLSEC meeting.
